Walter Turner

Born Walter Turner in, known to friends as Wally, but went by the roadname "DR" in the CAV because of his service as a dispatch rider in the second world war. DR was born November 29th 1922 in Manchester England and joined the military in 1940 at the age of 18 after lying about his age - stating he was born in 1920. His theaters included Canada, United Kingdom, and Continental Europe. Dr received an honorable discharge in 1945 and returned to Canada.
